Hello!

So last Wednesday I went to see The Midnight Beast at the HMV Institute in Birmingham.. This is the third time I have seen them live and it was honestly the best one out of the three.

The support act were two DJ's from Birmingham who also have their own clothing range and they really got the show started.

Their twitters -

We got really great seats in the Balcony area thanks to Sally! (Stefan's mum).

The show was really great and the set-list had a real mixture of old favourites and their newest ones!

This was the set-list:

Beast Song Ever
Harlem Shake
The Dance Routine
The Main One
Just Another Boyband
Wands
Friends For Never
Ninja's
Sweet Sixteen
When I'm Older
Lez Be Friends
Ubercvrrnt
Begging
Quirky
Booty Call
Tik Tok

The show finished just before 10pm and we all went around the back to try and meet them. I have tried to meet the boys twice before after shows and I have never been close enough for a photo before..

They came out at around 10:30pm and we all got photos and chatted for a couple minutes!

Me and Stefan Abingdon

Me and Dru Wakely

Me and Ashley Horne
They were all really nice and I really hope I can meet them again soon! (without the annoying barriers)

I hope you liked this short little post and I have put a link to the last song they played at the end!

Hello!

So as Spring is upon us, i thought i would do a post that is spring related.. and something that will help me decide and sort through my makeup collection for my top go-to items!

Lets get started!

So the first thing that i want to talk about is a brush. Many of you have probably seen this before anyway as it is a widely spoken brand on YouTube! This is the Stippling Brush from Real Techniques. This was one of the first things that i picked out, simply because it is a really good brush to apply your base with, that doesn't overload your face in foundation. When you think of spring you usually thing about cute colours and natural makeup, so this is perfect to use with a sheer foundation or a BB or CC cream.

Next up for the base makeup is High Beam by Benefit. Now this is a creamy liquid highlighter. When you unscrew the top, it pulls out a brush, kind of like a nail polish. This makes it really easy to apply and once blended in with your finger it produces a natural looking glow, rather than a shimmery sparkle finish. In the picture on the right you can see that i have shown what it looks like when just applied, and then blended in, and it just gives a beautiful glow. A must have for spring.

Now onto the eyes. I have chosen an Avon Glimmer stick, and I have it in the shade 'Majestic Plum'. Now this is a really buildable product. I have a few of these are they are all equally as good. This has a tiny bit of shimmer to it and can blend really well as they are very highly pigmented. They come in a plastic wind up tube which is great for me because i hate sharpening eyeliners and when applied it can be sheered out like the bottom part of the left picture, or built
up for a more dramatic look at night time. All-round great product to have in your collection.

Now as i love my nude shades i have gone for a nice pink nude 'Lip Gloss Wand' by Barry M. This is a really beautiful cool pink colour which looks really lovely on the lips and the formula is not sticky at all. It isn't like a lacquer, so it isn't that highly pigmented but i think that it adds just enough colour to the lips and can be sheered out really easily.

Last but not least is my top three nail picks. These colours have been in my draw for quite a while and last year i wore them all the time so i am hoping to get back into them. The top two are the Gelly Nail Paint's by Barry M. I think these are great, you can get away with just one coat and it will dry really quickly and are perfect colours for spring and summer. The bottom varnish is Essie's Fiji. This is a really nice white-baby pink colour and looks lovely on the nails. However to get a good coverage it will need about three coats, which is a bit annoying.. but expected from the reviews around the internet.

So that's all for my Spring picks for this season, i hope you enjoyed!

What are your Spring Picks for this season?

Hello!

Earlier this week I went on a little walk with my friend Beth, in some fields close by and to a place we call 'The Brook'. It was one of the first sunny days that we have had this year after the big storms and floods and I really wanted to see what the storms had actually done, we found some broken trees and The Brook really has higher water levels. So as we live in the middle of the countryside in sunny England, we thought we would go capture the sunset, and the fallen trees in the mud, these are some of the photos we came back with!

I really liked the plane lines in the sky with the sunset

Taking photos of this sheep was hilarious, we were trying to edge closer without him moving and he just kept staring at us! I was trying to get a photo of him when he was eating but that wasn't possible haha

Much art

Such blur
He finally gave us a nice pose!

Weird tree things and Beth in mid-walk

A swarm of birds were flying in the next field and they were looking at something on the floor so they kept swooping down to see what it was, and then they suddenly flew over us.. we definitely thought we were just about to be splatted on errrgh! Thankfully we wasn't! We brought home these photos instead!

The swarm
The birds in the distance.. by far my proudest photo in amongst the panic

Beth laughing about nearly falling in

And again...

And then it was time to take a stroll back home...

Nearly home..

So this turned into a quite a long one! I hope you liked it though! It was a really nice evening so I thought I would share it with you (if you got this far)

After getting home we went to the shop and bought sweets, soup and the new Company magazine Zoella is in... so much for burning off a few calories! Oops!

Do you live anywhere in the countryside?

Do you go on little walks like this from time to time?

Let me know in the comments:D
