Hey Lovelies!

This week I thought I would chat through my favourite YouTubers of this past month or two as I am heavily bogged down with college work at the moment so have definitely been slacking on my make-up game.

First up we have FleurdeForce's blogging channel; FleurdeVlog! As much as I adore her main channel, I definitely love following her personality on her day to day life. She daily vlogs quite a lot and usually does every other month!

Not to mention her three doggies and two cats! Heaven in a vlog channel for me :D

Next up we have Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup. This channel is all things beauty, fashion and lifestyle and her personality is really addictive!

She is so funny and definitely such a real character, no hiding away of imperfections and has spoken about the TMI side of beauty too!

This next one is Casey Neistat and was introduced to me quite a while ago now by my boyfriend Max (thank-you!) and ever since I have loved watching what he has been getting up to!

He has definitely grown so much during his, just over one year, of vlogging and puts so much effort into making his vlogs into kind of like short films everyday combined with the old 'day in the life of' videos.

If you haven't already, you should definitely check him out!

I have been watching Sammi for quite a few years now and in the past year she has definitely grown a lot, especially with her fashion videos! I love watching her style evolve and she has also managed to bring out a clothing line with her now fiancĂ©e which makes me feel like such a proud mother, oh dear ;)

You might have heard of her channel before as it was known as 'thebeautycrush' but has gone under a re-naming and is now known as Samantha Maria!

I have most probably spoken about Victoria from In the Frow before but there is no doubt that I adore her content! She mostly talks about high-end fashion and beauty but even though it is definitely out of my price range, I still love to swoon at all of the beautiful products she shows, heart eyes is definitely the face I pull when watching her videos.

Last but definitely not least is KickthePj (and also his second channel PjtheKick). I have always loved Pj's videos for many years however, at the moment I am really loving where he is going. Now that his series, Oscar's Hotel is over, he has been uploading on his main channel more frequently and also has been planning to upload a lot more on his second channel.

He is super creative and every single video he posts surprises me with something different and original. He is really great and I would highly recommend him!

So it's that time of year again where I like to switch up the nail colours that are on show on my dressing table to some brighter and more Springy colours!

This time round I wanted to have something that I can rely on to be quick, long-lasting and also beautiful as I am super busy with life things at the moment and nails aren't really the top of my list to faff around with.

So of course I have chosen to go for three colours from Barry M. They have always been one of my favourite brands for nail polish and definitely have the majority of my 80+ collection (oops).

Here are some snaps of the colours I have chosen and what they look like on the nails with just one coat (no base or top coat either).

As you can see the colours are pretty much done with just one coat from Barry M's gelly range and also definitely stay true to the colour shown in the bottle.

The Green shade is in the colour Guava.

The Red shade is in the colour Passion Fruit.

The Blue shade is in the colour Blueberry.

I really wanted to stray away from the pastel colours this Spring as I do not own any pastel colours that apply in one thick coat without the need for a second. If you know any good brands who have opaque pastels, leave a comment below!!

What do you think of my Spring shades?

Do you have any Barry M favourites?

Hey lovelies!

This past week has been spent either with college work or Max and has been a really great one actually! We went and watched Batman vs Superman and also went for a (very) muddy walk in my local forest! Have a peak on my Instagram to see my poor muddy Converse!

Just before all of this I popped into Boots and picked up this Rimmel top and base coat polish. When I got home I applied it before and after this Nails Inc colour which is super pretty and a nice transition from easter and into Spring.

The picture above was taken after 5 days of wear from this polish and you can see that there is just a bit of chipping on the forefinger and everywhere else looks pretty much perfect!!

Although the top/base coat does not dry as quickly as some others it is definitely worth the drying process to have your nail polish last this long with minor chips!

The brush is also super lovely to work with and there is a lot of product on the brush so it makes it easier to apply a shiny finish.

Saturday 2 April 2016

For a long time one of my favourite things to do in the evening is have a relaxing bath and watch all of my favourite youtubers and read some blogs. With this, comes with a lot of trial and error of loads of different products so I thought I would show you some of my all time favourites that I know will help me get in the relaxed mood.

I have done a whole review on this previously but I love the way this lathers up and also the fruity smell just relaxes me and makes me feel all cosy!

I have tried a few different razors in my time but this one has definitely come up tops! You can use the normal sized razor heads but it comes with its own little travel case and the tiniest handle! It is so easy to hold and definitely makes the chore a little easier.

-

I first found this scrub a couple of years ago and I found the concept so different! The consistency is just like a cross between a jelly and a jam, not so slippy as a jelly but definitely not sticky like a jam. There are also little raspberry seeds and grains which give a gentle scrub! I definitely don't find it as harsh as the sand-like scrubs out there!

-

I usually like to give my face an extra cleanse in the bath so that it can be totally fresh when I get out. This is a really nice cleanser which is first just like a gel but as you work it into the skin it turns into a bit of an oil which is super hydrating for my dry skin. When water is added to it, it almost turns into a milky  consistency which definitely leaves my skin feeling moisturised and super clean afterwards!

-

Finally, when I finally emerge out of the bath looking a bit like a shrivelled prune, I like to finish up with a body butter to give my skin a bit of a moisture boost! Soap and Glory have always done some of my favourite body butters, along with The Body Shop, but this is definitely my favourite scent!

Are any of these one of your favourites too? Leave me a comment down below or tell me on one of my social media's on the right!

Have a good weekend and I will see you in the next one!
