Hello!

I hope everyone who is at school or collage have had a really great half term!! It actually went quite quickly for me which I'm kinda glad about.

Today is the end of May which is pretty scary, there is only a month of college left and then I'm off for 6 weeks. Although it'll be a busy 6 weeks, I'm not really wanting to leave this course quite yet! :(

Instead of talking about beauty and fashion in this post, I am going to focus on the general things I have been loving this month. The main picture of this post describes my main favourite for this month (isn't he always??)

- - - -

First up I've been really enjoying KickthePj's and Crabstickz series of vlogs whilst they are in LA for the production of the series of Oscar's Hotel!! Which by the way I am beyond excited for eek

Im super proud of Chris for heading in this new direction for his YouTube content and I've really been loving going along with Pj's journey for this series as it is one of the biggest things he has been able to do yet! His content is one of my favourites out there so I'm super happy for him too :-)

- - - -

I have also been loving a few anime's this month which I don't think I've mentioned on my blog before! My favourite has been Haikyuu! It is really fun and cute and the story is really great to follow, if you have similar interests to me I'm sure you'd love it!

I have also started watching Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic which is really good too! Ive only just started and it was a recommendation from my good friend Max, so thank you :-)

- - - -

I really loved watching the coverage of Radio 1's Big Weekend last weekend too! Especially performances from Ella Eyre, Fall Out Boy and Muse!

As you may know I want to go into that area for my career so I love watching anything to do with it, its super interesting to me :-)

Also Lauren if you're reading this I'm so jealous of you

- - - - -

Other highlights are the barbecue with some of my friends I haven't seen for a while which was really lovely and also The Midnight Beast's fundraising project for their new EP, I am super proud of them and look forward to the Fun run with Ashley (if i manage to go)

- - - -

Thankyou all for reading!!

Sorry if this was longer than usual, I had quite a few non-beauty things that I have been liking this month! These are only the top things but there are so many other things, this year is looking great already!

Hope you're having an amazing day and I will speak next Sunday

Ciao :-)

Last time I did a post about my favourite nail polish of the month, I featured one of these! So I'm still loving that one.. but with a couple more products added.

Here are the links to all of the products

Left - Right

Im really loving this combination at the moment, the green and grey go quite well together too so if you were undecided as to what colour to go for, they both work!

Thanks for reading this short post :-)

Hope you are having an amazing Bank Holiday weekend

Here we are with another YouTuber book release. I actually picked this up a couple of weeks ago when it originally came out but I decided to read Connor Franta's book first.

This book is one of those books that is such an easy read. The way she articulates all of her memories and advice makes this one of those cup of tea in bed reads.

The book is set out in a script kind of format. All of the sections of the book are set out in 'Acts' which I find makes this book ever more personal to her.

If you take the original outer sleeve off the book, there is a special cover just for her 'hopefuls'. These are what she likes to call her subscribers and I am proud to be one!

On the front there is the definition of 'Hopeful' and on the back is the special hopeful logo which is basically your baby finger held up!

Overall, so far I think the book is really lovely and especially great for people who are going through similar things that she went through when she was younger! It may give some comfort to people :-)

Thank-you for reading guys!

What are you thinking about Carrie's book?

Sunday 10 May 2015

So as some of you might know, I have quite a collection of all the recent books that have been released from certain YouTubers such as Zoe, Alfie, Tanya, Fleur etc and I have been telling you all about them once I have bought them!

There has been a bit of controversy about YouTubers selling books but I think that it is really great that such a traditional form of the media is contacting one of the most modern creative outlets to create something together that is physical for their subscribers to keep, when 90% of YouTube is through your computer screen... ok i rambled a bit there...

So as there is going to be quite a few more releases that I'm going to be buying, I thought that it would be good to start a series of posts that will go up whenever I purchase another book! Sound good? Ok keep reading..

I recently picked Connor Franta's book up whilst in Waterstones the other day as I flicked through it and thought it looked really artistic and easy to read!

I am about halfway through and it is such a great book so far, it is extremely easy to read and just like your best friend is telling you some of their stories.

The layout of the book is very 'instagram' and super simplistic which makes me love it even more. The paper is also extremely satisfying to hold (and it smells great.. yes I'm one of those people)

Ill update you on my social media's about how the book was when I have finished it but so far so good!

If you are a fan of Connor or just YouTuber's in general then you would love this :-)

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the little YouTube series last week, it was quite fun to do and I know 90% of my readers will be into some kind of YouTubers :D

Monday 4 May 2015

Hello!

Im sorry this post wasn't up yesterday :-( For some reason it wouldn't upload at all! So if you're reading this I guess it has worked today :D

Lets get straight into it, here are my Top 5 Musical YouTubers.. Enjoy!

First up we have Carrie Hope Fletcher - From ItsWayPastMyBedTime

Carrie is a singing and acting girl from London who is brilliant at her job! She currently plays Eponine in Les Miserables in the Queens Theatre (I think) in London!

She does all sorts of videos on her channel, from funny ones with friends to singing on her bed to her favourite song, she's a great singer so i suggest you go check her out :D

Dodie Clark - From Doddleoddle

Dodie is a sweet 20 year old who is really fun, caring and also has a really great singing voice! Aswell as playing her extra limb (her ukulele).

I have been lucky enough to chat to Dodie in person before and she is honesty one of the loveliest YouTubers I have ever met :D

Emma Blackery - From Emma Blackery

I have been watching Emma for quite a while now and even though she doesn't post all that many singing-related videos, she is still really awesome at it and i have actually attended one of her sets and she is really great live!!

If you like watching a kind and funny person on youtube then this is your gal

Troye Mellet - From TroyeSivan18

I have been watching troye for quite a while now, he gained quite a lot of popularity and subscribers when he came out as gay in a video quite a while ago now. Ever since he has been extremely successful, he released his debut single 'My Happy Little Pill' which went down really well with his audience and also people who didn't know him!

His voice is really great so I urge you to go and show him some love, I promise you'll like him :D

Bethan Leadley - From MusicalBethan

I have been watching Bethan since she had shoulder length ash-blonde hair and still in her school uniform. I didn't really know of her for singing back then, I mostly knew of her for being funny and someone I just enjoyed watching!

But after hearing her sing in person at events and watching her singing career progress, I definitely see her as an artist and I am so happy for her! She has a really powerful voice and I really hope you go check her out :D

I hope you enjoyed the last instalment of my 4-part YouTuber series. I haven't really spoken about YouTube much on here which is weird seeing as it is a huge part of my life and interests.

If you just came across this and are a fan of any of these then feel free to follow me on my social medias to the right >> and I will most likely return the favour!

Saturday 2 May 2015

Hello Lovelies!!

So we are nearly finished in this 4-part YouTube series, I really hope you have enjoyed it so far :-)

Now these are all of my favourite YouTubers that have a smaller amount of subscribers to people like Danisnotonfire and Pointlessblog, however, still make amazing videos and are level with them in my books!

My Top 4 Smaller YouTubers

Eve - From Eve Bennett

Eve is a very lovely mid-teen who is slightly younger than me. She makes all videos to do with beauty and fashion and the occasional funny video! She is really unique and a natural towards the camera. She hasn't been posting videos for all that long but already has a large following!

Go check her out! Especially if you watch a lot of beauty girls :-)

Duncan and Mimei - From PDR and Mimei

Although both of these guys have a huge following on YouTube, their viewers are mostly from the Japanese area! I have been watching them for quite a while now, but recently they have been featured in an AmazingPhil video so have been gaining a lot more English speaking viewers! Which is really great for them!

Although they speak in Japanese, their videos do all have English subtitles at the bottom so the are super easy to understand :D

Tim - From Tim H

I have been watching Tim for a couple of years now and every single short film or sketch that he brings out has been amazing! My personal favourite (along with a lot of others') was Project Library, this reeled in quite a few of the subscribers that he has today and although he still has a big following, it is no where near the amount I think he should be at!

If you are a fan of people like Jack Howard, KickthePj etc then you should definitely go and check out his videos, they are excellent quality!

- - - - - - - -

I hope you liked having an insight into the smaller sub-count YouTubers that I like! These are all such great people and put so so much effort into the videos and films that they create so I thought i'd give em a boost by showing you guys :D

- - - - -

Thanks for the support as always guys :)

Hello!

Welcome to the second part of the 4-part weekend series for the bank holidays!

This time it is my Top 5 Non-Beauty YouTubers

(I've actually included more than 5 but I paired them together so that counts right?!)

First up we have... (in no particular order)

Alfie Deyes and Zoe Sugg PointlessBlog and Zoella

These two are a couple of my all-time favourites, a lot of people may see this differently but I think it might be because Alfie was one of the first youtubers I ever watched back in 2009-ish so I have seen his sub count grow and also as him grow up as a person!

As I have seen this I was also introduced to Zoe back in 2012 and she has also really helped me with anxiety issues etc!

Jack Howard Jack Howard and OMFGitsJackandDean

One of the things that I really enjoy about Jack is that he has my sense of humour. He never fails to make me laugh and he also has a voice that is really easy to listen to.

The first video of him was on his joint channel with Dean Dobbs (who is also great), they were doing a 'sofa rave' to the prodigy and I'm not sure why that made me want to watch more but I'm glad it did!

Im really excited to see where his career goes next :D

Dan Howell and Phil Lester - From danisnotonfire , AmazingPhil and DanandPhilGames (also crafts but...)

If you know me in any way then you would know that I have a huge love for these two. I really connect with their personalities, their videos and I love seeing their careers grow! Like Alfie I have been with them from a long while ago and I really look forward to whats coming next from them :D

Their videos are very different but they both have pretty similar personalities so you should definitely go check them out if you haven't already!

Pj Liguori - From KickthePj

I have been watching Pj for a few years now and he still never fails to amaze me at all. His videos are SO unique and his career is only just beginning. From watching him going through university, to graduating and following his dreams, all of Pj's work is consistent and beautiful!

If you aren't sure who this guy is then I urge you to go and check him out, especially if you like any of the people I have mentioned before :D

Evan Edinger - From Evan

Even though I haven't been watching Evan for over 3-4 years like the others, he is still one of my favourites. He is really funny and likeable and is one of the most lovely people on YouTube!

He has just surpassed 100,000 subscribers so I urge you to go check him out!!

- - - - - - - -

So that was my list of favourite Non-Beauty YouTubers! I hope you enjoyed it and I justified why I like them all so much!

Have a great rest of your day wherever you live :-)
