So.. Here we are! It is the first part of the 4-part YouTube series!

My Top 5 Beauty YouTubers

1 - Lets start off with Estee from EssieButton

I am really into the beauty girls that are into a bit of fun and a bit of TMI now and again. Estee is a really lovely and fun person to watch! I could definitely watch her with a cup of tea in the morning and a cheeky biscuit ;D

2 - Fleur from Fleurdeforce

I really love everything that Fleur does, aswell as really knowing her stuff she has fun! The information that she gives and the tutorials that she films are extremely informative and she has the budget to buy higher end products too if you're into that. Her skincare advice is especially good!

3 - Victoria from IntheFrow

Aswell as being extremely beautiful and lovely, Victoria has amazing style. She is one of my favourite people for watching 'Get Ready With Me's'. Aside from have vibrant purple hair she also has an amazing skill at pulling outfits together with her makeup and really flaunt her hair in the best way!

4 - Lily from LilyPebbles

Lily is a fun-loving girl who has a passion for beauty. She gives really good tutorials and also has a great range of topics throughout her videos! She often discusses her troubles with her super curly hair and how she tackles it which I have found really comforts the viewers she has with the same problem!

She is a really great person for her younger subscribers to look up to too.

5 - Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup

Last but not least here is Anna with Bobbi Brown from the other day! Anna is a real fun and bubbly person, she is good friends with Lily who I mentioned before and is an extremely lovely person. Her tutorials are very real and she admits she has imperfections and boy does she know how to cover them. She also knows how to flaunt them which i think is a really great message for people :-)

I really hope you liked the first part of the 4-part series over this weekend!

All of these girls have blogs too which are all linked up on their YouTube :)

Tomorrow we have my Top 5 Non-Beauty YouTubers, which was extremely hard to narrow down to just 5!

Here's the link to the original post about the 4-part series! - HERE

Hey Guys!

As you have probably noticed, i have change the name and URL of my blog :o I really hope you guys like it :)

Today i thought i would show you my coloured haircare routine as i do have coloured hair (well half of it)

These are the three main products that i use.

Shampoo: T/Gel Sensitive Scalp - Gentle for the scalp as well as the bleached ends.

Conditioner: TRESemme Keratin Smooth - This is a deep conditioner which will help to keep the coloured area's hydrated and silky smooth.

Heat Protectant: TRESemme Hear Defence - this is highly important unless you aren't going to be using heat on your hair at all (even a hairdryer!).

- - - -

I hope you enjoyed looking into my coloured haircare routine!

The brand of colour i use on my hair is Bleach London and their prices and colour are really great, however my colour is washing out at the moment so look back through my instagram (to the right>) to see the full colour!

- -

Have a great Sunday!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

This week i thought that i would try and get an awesome interview for you from one of my favourite artists, he has worked with lots of people that i love and i hope you enjoy it :D

- - -

1 - For some of the people who may not have heard of you before, could you describe what you do please?

I'm an artist who draws thing for some people :)
(Tmb, green day, e4, mcfly and many more)

2 - Who/What was your biggest inspiration when you first started up your shop www.simitchell.bigcartel.com?

A few people wanted to buy some shirts with my designs on them - so I invested some money got a few made up and sold them via a shop I created - I wasn't thinking it would turn into anything but it now holds loads of clothing/prints/paintings and original artwork and means I can afford pens and paper to draw more pictures :)

3 - I found your work through my favourite band, The Midnight Beast, how and when did you start to work with these guys?

Dru had seen a pic I had drawn of the midnight beast (I loved the band from the first time I saw them and just had to draw them) and loved it, I think then I spoke to Sally (stef's mum) and from that point I started doing more and more for the guys, and I am lucky enough to carry on working with them - not only have I drawn for them but I've also "acted" in the show and got to add some artwork to the e4 series - it's a rad job and I love it.

4 - What do you enjoy most about selling your designs?

Seeing people enjoying my artwork in any way makes it all worth while!

5 - What is the biggest project you have ever worked on?

That's a tough question, it varies from job to job and also some jobs are long and that makes them big but others are small but I get to work on things for a long time (like tmb - that's been like 5 years and I'm still drawing for them) I guess all the stuff I do is one large job - I'm just pleased I get to draw for a living.

6 - Your classic #DONTOBEY T-shirt was a hit! What do you think it was about that T-shirt that caught people's eye?

I think it's the 'piss take' of the shep farley 'obey' design that makes people enjoy that pic - mine is more anarchy - telling you to not obey which is the exact opposite of the obey stuff.

7 - What is your favourite thing about working with Stefan, Dru and Ashley from The Midnight Beast?

They are awesome friends of mine and we have loads of fun doing work together - it's always and is always fun - that's the best.

8 - Who is the most famous person you have seen with or wearing one of your designs?

Umm quite a few people have worn my stuff now - rufus hound (on celebrity juice), dynamo, tmb, chris o'dowd, dougie pointer, ellie Goulding are some of the people I can remember at the mo.

- - - -

I hope you guys enjoyed this little interview!

I really enjoyed thinking of the questions and writing this post and i hope Si did too.

A special thank you to Si for taking the time to answer these questions, it was awesome :)

Hello Lovelies!

I have a really exciting interview coming tomorrow so watch this space!

In the meantime i thought that i would show you my updated eye makeup for spring.

As you guys know, i love a bit of a neutral eye but this time there is a splash of colour which is pretty unusual for me

- -

LINER:

I start off the Soap&Glory Smoudler Kohl pencil in the shade Cocoa Bean and then follow up with the Rimmel Scandal Eyes liner in the shade Purple over the top.

LASHES:

I start off by applying the L'oreal Double Extension mascara primer (gold end) and then follow up with the mascara (blue end) and this creates big voluminous lashes.

To finish i apply a coat of Benefit's Roller Lash so that i can add that extra length  and staying power.

- - - -

Thanks for checking out this post!

If you enjoyed it give it a share or +1 on google plus!

Comment down below or with my twitter if this is a look you like? What else would you like to see on my blog?

Monday 13 April 2015

Hello lovelies!

As you can tell i felt like uploading a #mid-weeker post today!!

This one is going to be a fashion tag and i have not mentioned fashion quite as much as i would like to have on my blog as i am not that confident with showing you the clothes on myself and i would hate to take awful pictures!

I was so happy with the outcome of my last post about how i style my new denim jacket so thank you to everyone on twitter and my friends that supported it!

Ok.. enough rambling.. lets get into the questions!

- - - - -

1 - What is your favourite style to wear?

My favourite style would have to be, a funky top with something fun/quirky on or one of my favourite clothing brands with black jeans and some converse!

2 - Who is your fashion role model?

For this i would have to say Lady Gaga, it isn't just about what she wears but how she wears it with her style. She always goes out of the norm when trying out new styles and is never afraid to pull out the shock card! She teaches you to love yourself and not care what anybody things of what you are wearing, just do you :-)

3 - What do you always have on?

If you're a good friend of mine then you will know that i always, and i mean always, wear at least two wristbands, intact i have been wearing one of them for over 2 years, which is crazy to thing about!

One of them is supporting The Midnight Beast, specifically Ashley and then the other is my Official Phandom Member wristband which is supporting Dan and Phil from youtube! ( i am #2510 if you were wondering )

4 - What are your favourite jeans?

Personally i don't actually wear jeans and that is because my stomach doesn't like anything touching it other than leggings! (damn you IBS!)

But, saying that i absolutely love the look and feel of all of Topshop's jeans, so i would have to go with those :)

5 - What are your favourite sunglasses?

After getting my prescription glasses for looking and focusing on computer screens, i have not really found any high-street sunglasses that have fitted my shape of head easily! But i have heard really good things about Topshop's sunglasses so i will definitely have to go and check those out :D

6 - What are your favourite shoes?

People that know me would probably say that my blue converses are my favourite shoe because they are definitely well worn but i would have to disagree!

I actually have a pair of lace-up boots from New Look which are huge and chunky with a big heel and i absolutely love them, i just wish i could rock them with more outfits! (without my feet getting sore D;)

7 - Who influenced you to write about fashion?

I love to express my love for the fashion industry when it comes up in conversation ALOT. I am not sure really why i haven't spoken about it more on my blog but i can assure you now that i will be posting a lot more fashion related things from now on :)

But my biggest inspiration is probably Victoria from IntheFrow or Zoe from Zoella :-)

8 - What is your favourite store?

I have always adored New Look for the odd staple item and especially their shoes but for a store that i could physically walk into, it would definitely have to be Topshop or Miss Selfridge!

As for an online store it would definitely have to either be Lazy Oaf or ASOS.

9 - Who is your favourite fashion person on YouTube?

I actually have two people for this question!

The first will have to be Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup (HERE). She has such a minimalistic style and has amazing wardrobe organisation tips, you definitely need to check her out if you have too many clothes like me (oops)

The second is definitely Victoria from IntheFrow (HERE, stands for in the front row). This is mainly because i adore her hair and how she styles it with all of the different amazing picks that she finds, especially her makeup that she pairs with it too!

10 - What is your favourite fabric?

If i am honest i love any kind of fabric that is soft on my skin, i especially love the standard cotton t-shirt material, it is just so comfortable and i could wear it all day everyday!

11 - Who is your favourite model?

This one is a no-brainer for me! It is most definitely Cara Delevigne. I absolutely love her fun and care-free attitude to live. She is also going to be in the movie of my favourite book which is Paper Towns by John Green!

12 - If you had 5,000 to spend on one item, what would it be?

Now this one is hard as it probably needs to be a fashion item..

If it was a fashion item then i would probably go for an Alexander Mcqueen piece, probably one of the bags!

If it wasn't a fashion item then it would probably be a car, but if that wasn't an option then probably the most awesome camera, macbook and editing software i could find.

13 - Heels or Flats?

For everyday? Personally, flats.

In general? Either, i absolutely love rocking a flat shoe on a normal day scenario but when the heels are whacked out, they are normally in the form of huge chunky boots and they are my favourite kind of shoe ever!

14 - What purse do you currently use?

Im going to take this as the English meaning of purse which is the thing that i keep my cards and money in!

I am currently using a purse from New Look with a cute floral design and attached to the zip is a keyring with an elephant on the end which is from accessorise!

15 - Is fashion in your blood or in your jeans?

For me it would have to be in my blood as my mum has always done a lot of sewing and making of costumes throughout the years!!

- - - - - - -

Thankyou for taking the time to read this!!

If you got this far you are either a stalker or you love fashion as much as me and i really appreciate it :-)

If you could leave a comment below that would be great! It is super easy to do and only takes a couple of seconds.

Cheerio!

Saturday 11 April 2015

Hey Lovelies!

First of all, i am really sorry that the posts have been inconsistent over the past month, i have just had no inspiration or idea flow for posts!!

I promise i will upload weekly from now on, every. single. Sunday, without fail!

Except.. this is a Saturday.. but i just couldn't wait to show you!!

- - - - -

i bought a denim jacket from New Look earlier today and i have been looking for one with this kind of pattern and also this fit for a long time and this is how i would style it..

I paired it with this light grey high-neck top, this top is quite a slim fit and i think that is key when wearing a slightly baggier jacket! It helps to flatter your figure and ensures that your clothes don't just drown you.

I also paired it with this necklace from Lynsey Luu, you have probably seen her jewellery on my blog before, and i have also actually done an exclusive interview with her which is HERE so go check her out!

Lastly, i paired it with my favourite and most loved shoes, my converse. Which surprisingly i don't think i have actually spoken about on here before??

- - - -

So overall i think that this is such a great outfit for the Spring here in England! It still gets pretty cold so this will be a perfect in-between/medium heat outfit!

- - - - - - - -

Thank you for reading!

What are some of your top staple items for Spring this year?
