This week there have been quite a few videos that i have enjoyed and I'm sure you will too!

Here are my favourite videos from each day of the week

Lets get started

Monday

ViviannaDoesMakeup

This was a video about her week and everything she got up to.

I really like her style of editing and how she puts everything together.

This is from EsteƩ's #VLUNE series on her second channel where she vlogs every other day.

I really like how normal her life is and how she shows you everything she is doing, even without her makeup!

Tuesday

KickThePj

This was a video from his on-and-off series 'Slurp' where he generally answers questions his audience send in and combine them with an emotion in the form of a slurp!

They are really entertaining!

On Tuesday the Sorted guys made some Gin + Tonic cakes, these can be made without the Gin too so it would just be a Lime and Tonic cake...

I am definitely going to try these out!

Wednesday

ViviannaDoesMakeup

I really like this style of video where she just sits down and speaks her knowledge about different products!

This is a really handy video which includes loads of different things to use products for, which you may not normally do so!

I really love Phil's style of videos, they are really chatty and engaging, yet really simple!

On Wednesday he did a Q+A whilst packing for Vidcon! Its a really different take on a video that is usually really simple!

Thursday

Tanya Burr

This is a really nice recipe for anyone who is wanting to get into smoothies and find a  nice affordable way of doing it!

I really love Tanya's videos as she is so genuine and really loves the things she does!

This is a really unique D.I.Y video!

Jim has really spent a lot of time on this video and you can really tell!

His artwork is really worth the while and it is definitely something i will be trying out!

Friday

 JacksGap

This is a really film-like video, which is exactly the kind of content we expect from Jack.

He has a real creative mind and together with his brother Finn and his team, they have endless amazing ideas!

Carrie is a really loveable character so i loved watching this video.

Her videos are always so easy to engage with and watch, and this one was no exception.

It makes me want to save memories in a box like hers!

Saturday

Tyler Oakley

This was posted to his second channel ExtraTyler, where he has been posting vlogs of his Vidcon experience.

His vlogs are so unique and he is always so busy! Its great to see what he gets up to!

Ingrid videos always make me smile and want to buy everything she has mentioned (not good).

This video is her essentials for her beach bag and i love how she explains how she would use each product or item! Its really helpful.

Sunday - Today

Joey Graceffa

I love Joey's vlogs but the reason i loved this video so much was that Grumpy cat was in it...

Whats not to love??

I love louis videos, he's always travelling and having big and mini adventures everyday!

This time he is at vidcon and he really documents it well with all of the other Youtubers included!

Hope you liked the first instalment of Youtuber Sunday! I really enjoyed writing it and planning which videos i would like to include throughout the week!

Leave your thoughts on the segment below, and i hope you have a great week!

Until Tuesday...

Today i thought i would talk about my essentials for my skin throughout the hotter months.

First up is my Simple Eye-Makeup Remover, this is really gentle when taking off that waterproof eye makeup that none of us want to wake up with under our eyes the day after.

As you can see i have nearly used this bottle up, i have loved it this much. This just makes that chore in the evening easy. I just squirt a small bit of this onto a cotton pad and hold it over each eye for a few seconds, and then wipe it off straight after, it really is that 'simple'.. ok ill let myself out.

Next up is the Simple 'Kind to Skin' Protecting light moisturiser with SPF 15 (which is always a bonus).

I use this every morning before i apply my makeup and it sinks into the skin really quickly and it does not affect the application of my primer either.

This is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Now i have only just bought this, hence the amount that is still in there. I found these really nice to remove my base makeup with as a starter, before i really cleansed my face.

In the summer you don't want any heavy creams when you are already feeling quite hot and bothered, so this is a really nice substitute.

Next is something i have probably mentioned before in a post. This is the No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream. This is really light weight and almost instantly sinks into the skin.

It really gets to work through the night and you wake up with really nice skin that your makeup will love you for.

I usually keep everything in my new makeup bag from Kurt Geiger. This was on sale online and i also had a voucher that i got from a magazine earlier this year.

It really fits a big amount of makeup into it and I'm really glad i have it and excited to put it into action when i go to London in August!

Last but not least is a couple of products from Soap & Glory. I'm sure i have mentioned these products before on here, but they are amazing products.

The product on the left is Dr Spot by Soap & Glory, this really gets to work on  the spots that are coming at the total wrong time and you need to get rid of them straight away. I just cleanse my face and dab a small bit of this onto each spot that i need to get rid of and it acts like a Bongela type of thing.

The product on the right is the Hot Cloth Cleanser by Soap & Glory. This comes with a cloth to use which is really handy, and all you do it massage it into your skin, (do not get this in your eyes, just trust me there) you should also concentrate it in the areas that you want to cleanse most, and then wipe it off with a hot cloth! Simple as that.

New post coming this Sunday in my new segment 'Youtuber Sunday'!

Until then..

This week i thought i would organise my Summer makeup bag. These are going to be the essentials that i will reach for everyday in the summer.

I am going to show a couple variations of each makeup category (if thats what its called).

First up is the base, these are my favourite lightweight bases for the summer which won't feel like your face is caked in makeup.

Big Easy from Benefit: This is like a tinted moisturiser that is a quite thick and waxy. It is to be applied with your fingers and as you blend it into your face it slowly changes into a powdered finish, but doesn't look cakey on the skin at all.

123 Perfect CC cream from Bourjois: This is more of a creamy finish and a really good alternative to the Big Easy, it has colour corrective components in it aswell as hydration.

Smoulder Kohl (brown) by Soap and Glory: This is a very creamy eyeliner pencil that glides on really well and is highly pigmented.

Real Techniques Shading Brush: I like to smudge out the liner to have a more bronzed and softer look to the eye. This brush is really soft and really good quality, as well as being the perfect shape for your eye.

I think highlighters and blushers are really important in the summer, as you definitely don't want to look washed out and have no colour on your face.

High Beam highlighter from Benefit: This gives a really nice natural looking glow that does not look shimmery or glittery, it just gives a really nice sheen to the high points of your face.

Natural Blush Tint powder // Soft Damson from No7: This is really subtle and is a great powder alternative for the summer, it really lifts your cheeks and is definitely wearable throughout spring and summer.

Bene-tint from Benefit: This is a cheek and lip stain that is really subtle when applied to the cheeks, it is definitely not as harsh as it looks like in its bottle. I have the mini version and it has lasted be so long already! For lips i would apply a clear lip balm first and then paint this over the top and massage it together with my lips, this creates a really nice lip stain without being drying.

Urban Decay Naked lipgloss in Streak: This is a gloss that is really creamy on the lips and also nourishing. It doesn't dry out your lips at all and can easily last all day with only a few touch ups!

Barry M lip gloss in the shade 'lgw2': This is really creamy and not sticky at all, it has a really nice mellow shade that isn't too bright and will go perfect for an everyday look.

The Falsies Volume Express Mascara (flared) by Maybelline: This is a really good mascara if you want to volumize and lengthen your lashes, and it really does work!

They're Real from Benefit: This is the standard cult beauty product that everyone raved about when it came out, and still do! Although i feel as if this mascara would be for people who already have extra long eye lashes and don't want to lengthen them, because this definitely lengthens and lifts the lashes greatly. They also stay up ALL day (which is what we wanna hear right)

Onto nails.. now i bought these two polishes from Aston & Fincher (which if you don't know, its a wholesalers for people in the hair and beauty industry).

Chubby Cheeks by Essie: This is a really vibrant colour that would be perfect for someone who likes bright coral oranges.

Demure Vixen by Essie: This is more of a mellow toned varnish, a little bit like Porchester Square from Nails inc. However i think it has more purpley tones in it, which is really lovely for the summer and autumn.

Kick Ass by Soap and Glory: This is an instant re-touch transparent powder by soap and glory that can be used by itself or underneath makeup to act as a primer. It will blur out everything if you use it alone, however it will make the staying power of your makeup last, aswell as setting your primer if you use it underneath makeup.

Stay Matte powder by Rimmel: This is a matte transparent powder that will set your makeup in place and make sure everything stay where it should be for the whole day with only a few touch ups.

Last but definitely not least is primers.. (apologies for the bad photo, my camera was playing up)

Stay Perfect primer by No7: This is a really smooth and flawless primer that is quite wet to the touch. It has an oil-free formula which will help create the perfect lightweight base without you even knowing its there.

The POREfessional by Benefit: This is a tinted primer which blurs over all blemishes and imperfections on the face, you can wear this alone or under your base to create lasting makeup that will stay all day!

Hello!

Over the past couple of weeks i have collected a few items of jewellery that i thought you might like to see!

Here are the first items i picked up over the weekend (excuse the granny-looking hands).

These are the Freedom rings, they were all for £8.50 from Topshop

I can't find the exact ones on their website, but there are a lot very similar.

My favourites are the little infinity one (second from the left) and the bow one (second from the right at the top).

Here is the first necklace i bought. This was from Miss Selfridge priced at £7.50, and again, i can't find the actual necklace on their website, but I'm probably blind and can't see it, so do go and have a look if you like it!

I really like how it sits around the neck and also the little bits of detail.

The clasp is on the loosest it can go, so it can go really short if you want it to! I think it would look lovely if it was a bit shorter with a plain collar to jazz a shirt up a bit!

This is a really cute piece that my nan bought for me when she was scanning around in a charity shop, before picking me up from college with my mum.

This had a tag for New look on it, which is a shop that i usually love for clothes and jewellery.

This probably isn't in their shop anymore, but i really love the design of it and I'm always a sucker for cute animal things Whoops!

The nail varnish i am wearing is one of Barry M's Hi Shine gel Nail Paint in the shade Raspberry

I hope you enjoyed my small Jewellery haul!

Which was your favourite piece?

Hello!

So last week i popped into town to have a mooch around for some jewellery. Instead i went into The Body Shop and saw that there was a 30% sale on, which  obviously drew me in even more.

Here are the things that i picked up. The eye cream was actually free because i signed up for their discount card, which would usually cost five pounds to sign up to, but because i am a student, it was free!

This was photographed with the flowers that my friend Gem posted to me and my mum, for looking after her during the show last week, which was so so kind of her, also there was some chocolates involved so an extra thank you for those. It made the photo editing much more fun! So thank you Gem :)

This is the Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash, now i blame the beauty blogger EssieButton for this because she made me go out and find this, i haven't tried it yet but i am SO excited to.

Heres the Satsuma Body Mist, which again, i blame a lot of beauty bloggers for this because i have heard about it a lot before purchasing it, and when the hype was around, i didn't really catch onto the band wagon, but i caved and i love it.

It smells literally like heaven, if i was swimming in a pool of oranges right now, this is what i would smell like after i take a shower, seriously.

You need to try it.

Heres the free gift i was talking about earlier. This is the Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel. Now i haven't tried this yet but I'm really looking forward to using it, there will probably be a full review on this sometime later this year.

This product comes in a gel-like form, which sounds to me like it will be very cooly and very soothing, and will probably wake my eyes up a lot quicker than normal.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I hope you liked this mini haul from last week!

If you have a google account, please leave a comment saying whether you want to try any of these products!
