So this week I thought that I would show you my all time favourite brushes! I haven't really had much experience in the brush department as the brushes I would like require lots of money!
So lets get on with four favourite brushes -
I absolutely ADORE this brush! Even though I do not use it for contour, my cheekbones don't exist, I do however use it for my concealer. The tapered end and softness of the brush really helps to blend everything in so seamlessly and never leaves any brush strokes along the skin!
The only downside to this brush is that you can only buy it as part of the Core Collection, which has one or two brushes that I really do not like.
This is the burnt orange coloured brush.
This is one of my favourite eyeshadow brushes. I like to use this to give that first soft wash of colour all over the lid and also to blend in the crease or outsides of the shadow. It is a very soft and sparse so I would not recommend this for concealer or packing on intense colour.
This is the purple coloured brush furthest to the left.
Even though this brush is one of those that comes with an eyeshadow palette, it is actually amazing quality. The one end is a long but dense brush which is perfect for packing on pigmented colour or wetting slightly with a setting spray to make the colour even more pigmented and intense.
The other end is a more long and fluffy brush but definitely more coarse than the Real Techniques one. I like it to really focus colour in the crease so that I do not get any fallout with darker colours!
This is the bronze/gold double ended brush.
This brush comes with the same eyeshadow set as the base shadow brush and I didn't really use it that much at first as I thought that it was definitely much too big for my eyelid. One day had an idea that it would be perfect for concealer! It blends in beautifully as it is the best combination of dense and sparse. I would highly recommend this brush!
This is the purple coloured brush on the far right.

I would TOTALLY recommend Zoeva brushes. I own the complete eye set and they are fantastic. I bought mine from BeautyBay.com (which would probably work well for you being in the UK- I had to ship to Australia). They are a little pricey BUT the way I reasoned with myself was that, when bought it the set, they're like a third of the price of MAC brushes sooo definitely save your pennies! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!! That website is super handy + thats definitely the best way to soften the blow, i'll start saving! :)
