Hello!
Now before you look at the title of this post and get a horrible image in your mind.. let me explain..
In Hereford, near where I live, there has been a new shopping centre in the making for quite a while now, and it has finally opened. As soon as I found out that there was a large Debenhams there, I was straight in there and looking for the high-end stuff.
If you aren't familiar with Debenhams for some reason then it is a large shop with lots of clothing in and can also sell alot of high-end clothing and makeup brands.
As soon as I walked in, there they were, in the Urban Decay section, the Naked palettes. I walked straight over to them in my own little daydream leaving my mum wondering what the hell I had found this time.
I spoke to the lady behind the counter about which palette would suit my skin tone the best and we both agreed on the Naked 2. There was an offer on that day that if you bought any of the large Naked palettes you could have another product from the whole of Urban Decay with 10 pounds off. So naturally I went to the eye-liners and lip gloss's and I finally settled on a Coral coloured lip gloss.

Here they are... and I must say, they are beautiful
First up when I opened the packaging up, I came across this little freebie. I'm all up for free things, especially if there is a large sample inside, as I'm sure you are too. It came with four free little Primer Potions, which I am sure, if you watch any beauty guru's on YouTube, you will know about this and all the hype around it.
I am really excited to try it and will give everything a full review when I have been using it for a while and as it says on the back of the packaging, each pot of primer is a weeks worth!!
Next up is the packaging, I really like it because it feels quite stern and safe for all of the colours inside. It's also handy to travel with as you don't have to worry as much about the inside getting ruined.
Colours Left to Right - Foxy, Half Baked, BootyCall, Tease, Snakebite, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout |
Now for the colours, as the lady behind the counter said, they all suit my paleness as pinks and purples that are brighter seem to just drown out my eyes and make them look a bit more red than pretty.
As I haven't really ventured out into the eye shadow world as much as I would have liked to, I think this is a great palette to start with, especially with the neutrals.
My favourite part is the left end of the palette, I think they are all very versatile and all of the colours in this palette vary from matte shades to beautiful shimmers.
I also tried to do swatches for all of these but my camera would pick up the lighter shades on my arm :( But I'm definite that there are hundreds of other and more professional reviews out there.

Last but definitely not least is this Lip gloss, this is from the Ultra Nourishing Gloss range, that I linked earlier in the post, they really are ultra nourishing.
The lady was showing me some really nice colours that fitted my skin tone, which I liked because I never know what will suit me until I get home and try it on my lips, which is usually too late, as most things don't look the same as swatching on your hand in my opinion.
I really like this coral colour, I think it is really fitting for spring and is not too bold for my neutral look.
Well I hope you liked this small post!!
I really like sharing the things I am buying at the moment!
Have you tried any of these products? If not are you gonna give 'em a try??
Cheerio!
