Hey Lovelies!

Today's post is a bit different from the normal updates but this is very close to home and I hope you can all get involved.

Here are two 12 year old boys called Toby and Corey, they are my friend Jasmine's little brothers!

Last year, the boys were diagnosed with Cone Rod Dystrophy which is a degeneration condition of the eyes, from this they are now partially sighted and their sight is gradually getting worse over time.

Recently they have been undergoing alot of different tests and have now been diagnosed with Battens Disease (click the HERE for more info). This is a horrible life-shortening fatal illness which will leave them bedridden and unable to make it through their teenage years.

Currently there is a donation page set up where nearly 2,000 pounds has been raised so far, this is to help make lots of amazing memories for these boys and make their life the best it can be.

I urge you, however much 1 pounds or 10 pounds will make a HUGE difference!

If you are from the local Herefordshire area, there is a fundraising event going on in aid of these two at God's of Ink (<-- Click here to check it out) which I would urge you go to! If you cannot make it to that or are not in the surrounding area then you can donate HERE

Thank you for reading this and i really hope you can contribute to this heart-breaking cause.

Happy Sunday!

Since i spoke to you last week i was thinking that i should start having some kind of schedule to my blog. I know that i only post once a week, but that is all i can fit into my time at the moment as i am still in full time education!

One of the things that i thought i would try out was a series called 'Nail of the Month', where every month i will show what has been my staple colour as i only usually switch up the colour of my varnish about once a month!

So here we go!

The first nail of the month is a varnish from Barry M called 'Chai'. To get this opaque colour i did one thick coat of the polish and it covered completely! I think that two thin coats would also do the same. Like all of their varnishes, it dried in no time at all.

I really think that this shade of grey is so chic and elegant, it can be paired with any outfit, especially blacks and very pale colours!

Overall i think it's a beautiful polish and i cannot wait to wear it more! (even though i really shouldn't have bought another eek)

I hope you enjoyed this first post of the series! I really enjoyed writing it and i feel like it will encourage me to experiment with my nail looks and colours throughout the rest of the year!!

Get the varnish - Here

Till next time..

Happy St.David's Day my lovelies!!

So on Friday i went on a mini shopping day with my friend Katie before she moves house.

We popped into quite a few shops but i thought that i would show you what i got from Boots and Lush whilst i was there!

Firstly, Katie recommended a mascara from loreal to me so she very kindly bought it for me to try out... Here were the results -

I think it really thickened my eyelashes and the mascara along with the primer for the lashes was a great idea however i found that the lengthening didn't really stay long for very long but i do absolutely love the fact that it does not clump at all whilst applying!

Im still stuck in my ways with Benefit's new roller lash, it is SO good!

- -

Next up i popped into lush and picked up one of their bath ballistic's (bath bombs), this one was their Dragon's egg!

It is my favourite, it smells so strong of citrus and lemon and when it is fizzing around in the water there are so many different colours that come out of it! However it's appearance is clear white, ill link up the ingredients below.

I also picked up a bubblegum lip scrub and one of their little hand and body moisturisers for charity! These were kindly bought by Katie for me too, thank you again if you're reading this! :)

Happy Sunday my lovelies!!

If you are a regular reader of my blog you have probably noticed the increase in reviews, this is because there have been so many new releases that i absolutely love and i really wanted them to get out as quick as possible for everyone so they could decide whether or not they wanted it!

This will be last consecutive review for a while i promise!

Fleurdeforce is a well known Blogger and Youtuber on the interwebs and has recently (last Thursday) released her first book! It is all about how to lead a fabulously glam lifestyle and look good whilst doing it!

I finished reading the book about an hour ago and i can honestly say it is extremely good! She really knows her stuff and she writes it in such a relaxing way!

The book is separated into lots of different parts including these above ^

- - -

My personal favourite thing about the book is of course the content but definitely the Illustrations and Photos, they are so so good!

Heres a few of my favourites:

- - -

The layout of the pages is also extremely attractive as well as the titles of each page too -

The information throughout the book is all spot on, especially in the hair section as i know quite a lot of technical things about that! - Well done Fleur, you know your stuff!

This was the loveliest part of the book, situated right at the end. It is a message to all of her subscribers and followers like me! It was so lovely to know that we have helped her in some way, she deserves it!

- - - -

I hope i have convinced you to check this book out in your local book store or online, it is such good value for money and it is one of those books that you can always go back to if you need to know something or get a bit of body confidence!

Buy Fleur's Book HERE at only £7.49! So worth it

I hope you enjoyed!

Have a great week and have fun with whatever you're up to

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

Recently i picked up Elle Magazine from my local shop! I usually always pick up this magazine every month but one thing that really caught my eye this month was that there was an exclusive new product from Benefit!

I have been trying out the new Roller Lash mascara for the week and i can honestly say that it does ALOT more for my lashes than Benefit's famous 'They're Real' does!

Before                      -                         After

This is the before and after shot of me applying it this morning (wow my hair looks green). I usually apply a  little amount of mascara and then carry on with the rest of my makeup before applying the main coat, this ensures that my lashes really get the lift that they need! They really grow outwards ugh!

I have also found that this mascara stays for quite a while! I have worn it for a whole day of college and it is still pretty much the same as when i left my house in the morning to when i walk back in!

Roller Lash comes out on the 12th of February so head out and get it quick because i am sure it'll fly off the shelves when it officially comes out!

- - - - - - - -

I hope you enjoyed this wee post! I was thinking of doing my hair care routine, as my hair has quite a bit of bleach on it at the ends aswell as brighter colour!

Let me know what you think!

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday and enjoy your week!

I am going to see Big Hero 6 this Thursday and i am so excited to see it! Two of my favourite you tubers are in it and I'm so proud haha

I am always supporting fellow bloggers and the YouTubers out there and i always love to snap up the latest item that they design or bring out, not just for myself but so i can review it for you.

Recently the lovely Tanya Burr released her own book called 'Love Tanya'. For starters the cover in person is absolutely beautiful aswell as the pages inside being such high quality!

The design of the pages throughout the whole book are fantastic! The only sections i have left to read are 'Youtube' and 'Looking Forward', which also look great.

The content of the whole book is set over 12 main sections:

Growing Up: Part One
Growing Up: Part Two
Skincare Essentials
Make-up Essentials
Hair and Nail Essentials
Fashion
Love
Life
Baking & Recipes
Confidence & Happiness
Youtube
Looking Forwards

My favourite sections so far have to be 'Love' and 'Confidence & Happiness'. They are just so inspiring and hearing about how she and Jim fell in love was so heart-warming! She also touches on anxiety and how she gets through times when it takes over and her experience with getting to where she is now.

She has a mixture of healthy and not-so-healthy recipes in the 'Baking & Recipes' section and they all look delicious!

She has some really helpful points on Skincare and Makeup which i really find so interesting as i love the science behind anything to do with beauty!

- - - -

Overall i think this book is definitely a good read, if you have only watched Tanya's videos or read her blog a couple of times, this will still be as interesting and heart-warming for you as someone who has followed her for years! It is a great read and i am so proud of her for everything she achieved last year, it is fantastic to see our bloggers getting up in the industry!

This book is such a great investment that you can refer to time and time again with sections that have to be filled in by you and also her answers to the questions too! There are so many recommendations and is perfect for anyone who is new to makeup or has been doing it for years!

I hope you enjoyed this quick read!
