Happy Easter!

(cool colours right)

This week I thought it would be greatly inappropriate if I did not include those adorable fluffy chicks with the plastic feet in my photos (I hope you love them as much as I do).

For this edition of the nail edit, I thought I would go all seasonal and show you one of my favourites that I only ever crack out at this time of year!

These were released just before easter in 2014 and ever since I have worn it around this time! My boyfriend says that they look like mini eggs, hopefully he won't get overly peckish in the night!!

I have never seen any nail polishes similar to these before so if you have, please let me know!

Although these need at least 2 thick coats, (unless there is already an opaque colour that matches underneath) its worth the effort to have mini egg nails, right?

Check them out - HERE

Hope you're all liking the more regular posts and the, hopefully, better photos too!

Have the best Easter weekend and i'll be back with another soon c:

Good Afternoon Lovelies!

So for the past couple of weeks I have been trying out these two high-end moisturiser mini's to see which one is better, in my opinion!

I'll start by saying that my skin is super dry at the moment but it is usually normal to dry depending on the weather.

Clarins - HydraQuench Cream - £36

Now this is a bit of a pricey moisturiser but I always think that you should spend more on your skincare because if you don't have a good base to sit your makeup on then whatever product you use, it will not look right.

Firstly, I ADORE the smell of this, it spells so fresh and slightly fruity, so if you aren't a fan of scented moisturisers, then I wouldn't go near this product.

Once applied to my face the first thing I noticed was that it is quite cooling, so it is good if you want a bit of a wakening up in the morning, and it also sinks into the skin quite well, as well as only needing to use the tiniest bit to do your whole face!

Once I had applied my primer over the top and started working in my concealer I noticed that the product started to roll off my face and was just not settling onto my skin and it was down to this moisturiser! I've never really had that happen before but it definitely is one for night time instead of the morning.

Ren - Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream - £20

So this is definitely a lot less pricey than the other one which is already a plus!

Now this definitely also has a scent too but it is more of that traditional 'moisturiser' kind of natural clean scent rather than the strong one that Clarins had.

When I first applied this it felt slightly cooling again and also a lot thinner than the Clarins one. It also sunk into the skin a lot quicker than the other and instantly makes your skin feel hydrated and smooth.

Once I started to apply the same primer and work in the same concealer it blended in so seamlessly! My concealer didn't cling onto any of my dry patches or cake around my nose, it just blended in a lot better than with any other moisturiser I have used!

So overall, I think there was a clear winner out of those two, especially with the price difference! I'm definitely going to be purchasing the full size now (feel unique.com I'm coming for you).

I hope you enjoyed this little comparison/first impressions post :-)

I have also been loving receiving the Blogosphere magazine at the moment! If any of you are a fan of Lily Pebbles then you should definitely check out this issue!

Until Next time..

So this is going to be a lil' post explaining why you haven't been seeing much  (anything!) around these parts of the interwebs for a couple of months now.

It started off with the lack of inspiration and motivation to blog, I really did not know what do write or take photos of and even if I did, the ideas would never be good enough when put into practise!

As the weeks went by, I found that I had less and less time to do these posts as I was having up to 6 assignments for college on the go at one time! Hopefully that kind of stress is over now.

After those assignments cleared up and I had a little more time on my hands, I started to become slightly scared of uploading a post as I had no inspiration, no photographs were going right and I was also scared that none of my readers would still be here!

After um-ing and ahh-ing about the situation I decided to totally change my bedroom around and have a big clear out. This has totally motivated me and inspired me to do a lot more. I feel more happy about the lighting in my room, the space and also the different areas that I could potentially use for blog photos!

I have ideas streaming out of my brain and I have jotted them all down. For me, being organised is key and as you can tell, I kind of failed at that over Christmas which left me in such a blogging rut.

I really hope you guys understand and hopefully I will be back to regularly spilling out my brain into these posts for you to read!

I am not going to have a schedule just yet, just incase college decides to throw its worst at me again!
