Good evening everyone!

So I recently I ran out of my Maybelline Baby Skin primer which, to be honest, I didn't love and I was still pining for my beloved POREfessional (sad face).

I popped onto boots and had a mooch with my £10 worth of points to spend and I came across this, Soap and Glory's One Heck of a Blot Primer. Now even though I don't have oily skin (its actually insanely dry at the mo), I love to have a base before my concealer and I love the idea of a wet matte formula.

When this arrived I swatched it on the back of my hand and trust me, a little goes a long way.. I learnt from my mistakes (oops).

It is quite a white-ish gel consistency and when massaged into the skin it feels almost wet but sinks in SO quickly! It smooths everything out and I haven't had it long enough to test out its 'pore shrinking technology' but it's really worth the money as it is and will last be ages!

So here's a little life update -

Sorry that this post was pretty short and not that great (sorry for the bad lighting) but I am currently neck deep in assignments for college! Better posts will resume soon I promise <3

I am currently in my slippers, horn hoodie and leggings with a desk full of snacks and other desperate 'brain food' as I like to call it

Anywho thanks for reading this week!

Let me know on my social links or down in the comments what kind of content you would like to see and I will speak next week!

So if any of you are like me then you will know the rush of excitement that you get when you find a nail polish that you picked up on a whim a few months back and totally forgot you had..

Well this was one of them, and what a find it was.

I was definitely in that hype of Nails Inc's Porchester Square a few years back and I haven't really found anything that is such a versatile shade.. Until this one.

This is my first polish from Tanya Burr's range and to be honest, I wasn't expecting too much. I have followed Tanya for a long time and couldn't be happier for her when her range came out but I just was not that convinced, the same with Zoella Beauty, but now I am HOOKED!

This Tanya Burr polish is in the shade Penguin Chick, which Tanya admitted was a manufacturing fault and was actually meant to be called Penguin Chic (which I definitely prefer).

Even though this shade needs 2-4 ish coats, depending on how deep you like the colour, it is a really lovely shade. It is a perfect colour for the day on its own, with some sparkle in the evening and definitely any season of the year. It extremely versatile and will work with just about anything!

I am not really sure how to describe the shade but its a kind of cool toned purple-grey. The photo above was taken after nearly two days of wear and is still holding up pretty well!

I paired it with my usual bottom and top coats which will be linked below!

I hope you guys found this little review helpful! Until the next one...

See you on the interwebs

So 2015 is over! I have to say, it was probably my best year yet. I have met so many great people and grown so much more confident with myself so I thought that I would look back through the year and document my thoughts and photos here, lets see how it turns out!

So just before the beginning of the year I moved courses at college because my anxiety had gotten so bad so by the beginning of 2015 I was feeling a lot better and beginning to talk and make friends more!

January through to June was filled with college and more college but I also managed to end up with a boyfriend (Max) which I never thought in a million years would happen to little old Laura! I think i'll keep him too ;-)

The summer was a really relaxed one with a couple of trips out with my friends such as Borth with Beth (where we both ended up with huge sun burns yay) but I really got to spend a lot of time with Max which is what made it really special.

Oh and I also had a birthday in amongst it all! That was a big one too, being 18 is very strange.

From September I then started my new course and have made so many new friends! You know who you are so if you're reading this thank-you for helping me settle in and being the best, I appreciate it!

After that the whole year just disappeared so quickly and I had such a great Christmas with my family too!

Here are lots of photos from my year (in no particular order)

So that's 2015! I am way too excited for what 2016 has in store for me and if it beats 2015 then it will be insanely awesome!

Thanks for sticking with me through last year and I will strive to do 1,000% better this year :-)
